• Dabei berichten Sie an den Senior IT Manager.

This program offers a native Mandarin-speaking high potential a rare combination: an intensive leadership development phase at the global headquarters of a German high-tech industrial company in Northern Germany, followed by a position within the company's management team in China.

To further strengthen its leadership team in China, we are seeking an ambitious Management Trainee - Germany-China Leadership Program (m/f/d).

As Management Trainee (m/f/d), you will complete a tailor-made leadership development program of approximately 12 to 18 months at the global headquarters in Northern Germany. This is an exceptional opportunity for a native Mandarin-speaking high potential with academic or first professional roots in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland. You will build your career at the heart of a German high-tech industrial company, earn the trust of its global headquarters, and then translate this knowledge into a leadership role with real impact in China. Few programs offer such direct access to top management, strategic decision-making, and an accelerated path into leadership at the interface of German engineering and the Chinese market.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the group, its business units, international sites, and organizational structure
• Become familiar with the corporate strategy and the long-term objectives guiding the company's development
• Develop in-depth knowledge of core workflows and business processes, from engineering and project execution to service and administration
• Contribute actively to day-to-day operations in changing functions and take ownership of concrete assignments
• Support the annual budgeting process and take part in monitoring financial statements and key performance indicators
• Learn the principles of risk management and help safeguard the long-term stability and sustainable development of the organization
• Get to know internal and external corporate communication as well as the company culture as a foundation for successful leadership
• Participate in dedicated leadership and management trainings as an integral part of the program
• Build a strong network with management, specialist functions, and international colleagues across the group
• Act as a cultural and professional bridge between the headquarters and the organization in China
• Prepare systematically for a leadership role within the management team in China

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experiences:

• Completed university degree in engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable discipline, ideally combining technical understanding with business acumen
• Recent graduates are very welcome; first professional experience, for example through internships, working student positions, a trainee program, or an initial role, ideally in an industrial, engineering, or technology-driven environment, is an advantage
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to structure complex information and derive clear conclusions
• Genuine interest in strategic corporate management and a clear ambition to take on leadership responsibility
• Solid understanding of finance and business administration fundamentals
• Pronounced problem-solving skills combined with an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High intercultural sensitivity and the ability to connect German and Chinese business cultures
• Talent for building and maintaining professional networks
• Native-level Chinese (Mandarin) and business fluent English; German or additional languages are an advantage but not a requirement
• High degree of flexibility and willingness to travel internationally

Our client offers an attractive overall remuneration package reflecting the significance of this position, a structured development path including dedicated leadership trainings, and close exchange with the management team. Personal and professional growth is actively encouraged, and you will benefit from an open, international team culture that values initiative and fresh perspectives.
