As Head of HR (m/f/d) you will be in charge of operational and strategic management with a hands-on approach and prioritizing tasks in a dynamic work environment. Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Develop and drive the HR strategy in line with the CEO and monitor its execution to ensure achievement of objectives
- Manage recruitment and selection process to attract quality candidates and retain competent colleagues
- Ensure timely and effective recruitment and on-boarding
- Implement employee engagement initiatives across the company
- Lead the implementation of the talent management framework to build a highly competent workforce and a culture of achievement
- Consistently recognize, reward and retain top talent
- Ensure training programs and development opportunities are deployed at a consistently high standard and aligned with business needs
- Ensure all activities in performance management process are effectively executed
- Regularly coach, mentor and support colleagues to identify individual strengths and development needs, develop and maintain effective relationships and encourage retention
- Employee relations services, investigating cases and recommending conclusions, ensuring that all disputes are resolved in a fair and timely manner
- Consult on workforce planning activities in order to optimize staffing levels and productivity
- Lead the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and standardization of HR systems and processes
- Ensure consistent standard of customer service and health & safety procedures
- Ensure the effective implementation of company-wide HR policies, procedures and practices in accordance with the company objectives and UAE legislative requirements
- Report to the CEO
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources Management or equivalent
- At least 8 years of working experience in an HR role in the Middle East
- Excellent English language skills, German language skills would be an added value
- Strong knowledge of key HR frameworks including:
- UAE labor legislation / employment law
- organizational planning and development
- recruiting and talent management
- HR services and employee relations
- Capable of developing, articulating and implementing business strategies and initiatives
- Possesses strong problem-solving, reasoning and analytical abilities
- Proven managerial, strategic and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize workload in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
