As an integral part of their global expansion initiative, our client is actively searching for a dynamic and outcome-driven Regional Market Development Manager (m/f/d) to penetrate and explore opportunities within the Middle and Far East region.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Cultivate enduring partnerships with clientele, predominantly oil refineries, and engaging with stakeholders, including governmental entities in Middle & Far East
- Drive new business development initiatives and create compelling value propositions to secure strategic partnerships and long-term contracts
- Observe market dynamics, encompassing competitive forces, political landscapes, and legislative alterations
- Serve as the company's representative at industry conventions and conferences
- Promote the company as the leading global solutions provider through strong communication strategies
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to the Senior Management Team
- Establish close collaboration with the corporate management team at the headquarters
- Reporting to Managing Director
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field
- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in oil refinery-related sectors within an international context (e.g., oil refinery services, catalyst supply, technology provision)
- Working experience in the Middle East is a requirement
- Mandatory proficiency in both spoken and written English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous
- A profound cultural acumen and the capacity to function effectively in a multicultural environment
- Excellent client relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work autonomous, proactive, and goal-oriented
- Willingness and availability to travel 30% to 50% of the time throughout the Middle and Far East region
