Our European client is a leader in industrial automation offering customized solutions for international clients in widely spread industrial sectors. As HR Manager, you will be responsible for managing HR processes in the Middle Eastern region independently. In this role, you have the opportunity to restructure and install effective HR processes and create a performance management system, salary benchmark, automated payroll, and other exciting projects.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Act as a role model and exemplify the company values, initiate and accompany change
  • Strengthen the global and interdisciplinary cooperation
  • Achieve and define corporate key figures, ensure that tasks and duties are performed in line with global guidance, standards, company values and strategy
  • Contribute to the global HR strategy including digital transformation and globalization
  • Provision of the required personnel to achieve the short-, medium- and long-term strategic and economic corporate goals in the region, ensuring minimal personnel turnover
  • Recruitment of new hires on schedule and within budget
  • Actively supporting the headcount planning process
  • Implement the global career development, global succession and training structure and processes
  • Support the global annual performance and competency review process, measuring and supporting management compliance with this process
  • Advise managers and supervisors in all personnel management issues
  • Supervision of labor law issues in compliance with legal and operational requirements and actively reviewing potential conflicts of interest and driving an ethics refresher program
  • Support and realization of organizational changes and transformations including implementing hybrid work arrangements
  • Salary determination and salary reviews in line with market benchmarks and company requirements
  • Implementation of HR Management Systems
  • Responsibility for payroll execution
  • Ensure the required documentation of human resources-related data and information
  • Report to the VP of the Region and the VP of Global


To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • University degree in business administration or similar
  • Professional experience in Human Resources, ideally in an HR Generalist role
  • Experience in a global acting company with a technical environment preferred
  • Expertise in local labour law
  • Excellent English and Arabic language skills, German would be advantageous
  • Experience with ERP- and HR-systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Trustworthy and ethical personality
  • Pro-active and motivated to assert positive change
  • Ability to work autonomously and flexibly
