Our German client is a one of the market leaders for premium medtech equipment for various applications. As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the development of strategic partnerships with all customers in the territory of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman to create a profitable growth in the region. You shall be able to apply mechanical and technical aptitude in a creative and strategic way when solving problems with customers. Travel within the territory should be expected and embraced by the ideal candidate.

Your duties will include:

  • Execute sales activities within the Middle Eastern region with focus on Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman
  • Develop new sales potential and correspond marketing strategies in the assigned sales territory by visiting customers, project sites and partners on a frequent basis
  • Creation of a sound business plan and on-going activity plan for the assigned region
  • Ability to cultivate and develop meaningful customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Sound technical understanding and quality introduction of all products to customers with customer-specific value focus
  • Implement product training sessions to clients and partners
  • In charge of delivering presentations to the clients on the basis of detailed research of their business and requirements
  • Negotiating and making offers in accordance with company procedures and clients requirements
  • Conduct frequent competitor analysis in responsible markets and monitor price movements and performance of the product
  • Analyze and define proper distribution channels to meet forecasted sales budget in assigned territory
  • Participate in a highly strategic collaborative environment, providing regular account summary reports and support trade shows as required
  • Report to the General Manager

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • More than three years of technical sales experience within the GCC region
  • Knowledge in project related sales for interior solutions, preferably in medtech/laboratory equipment
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Autocad drawings
  • Excellent English and Arabic language skills 
  • Ability to effectively manage his/her own schedule
  • Ability to influence at all levels through excellent negotiation and conflict management skills
  • Strong communication, presentation and training skills 
  • Proactive, organized and independent personality with technical enthusiasm
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region
