Our client is a global leader in intelligent logistics systems, specializing in the design, manufacture, and integration of advanced Material Handling Systems for industries such as aviation, express logistics, warehousing, and distribution. The company is committed to innovation, efficiency, and delivering tailored solutions that meet clients' evolving logistics needs. As Head of Projects, you lead and oversee the execution of material handling system projects across the Middle East and Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering end-to-end projects, including planning, execution, budget control, stakeholder communication, and ensuring that project milestones are met to high standards of quality and safety. 

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for Material Handling System installations and servicing
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, logistics, installation, commissioning) to ensure timely and efficient project execution
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment of project objectives
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company procedures in all project locations
• Oversee on-site activities during installation and commissioning phases, manage subcontractors and suppliers
• Generate regular project status reports and updates for senior management and clients
• Travel to project sites across the Middle East and Europe as required
• Report to Operations Director

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field
• PMP certification is a plus
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on industrial automation, logistics, or material handling systems
• Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-country projects on time and within budget
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience working with multinational teams and clients
• Fluent in English and Arabic, any European language is an advantage
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
