Our client is seeking a Quality Manager (m/f/d) Oil & Gas Projects to lead and execute quality strategies across complex industrial projects. In this role you will serve as a key interface between engineering, production and suppliers, ensuring that every product meets the highest quality standards, from planning through final inspection.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Translate customer specifications and project requirements into robust inspection and testing plans that set clear, actionable quality standards
• Define and implement consistent quality requirements across internal production and the external supplier base
• Drive project-related supplier quality activities, including audits, qualification processes and acceptance testing procedures
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action programs in case of deviations, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
• Oversee quality milestones at supplier sites, verifying compliance and readiness prior to shipment
• Closely monitor in-house manufacturing processes to identify quality risks early and collaborate with production and planning teams on resolution
• Conduct final delivery inspections aligned with contractual requirements and customer expectations
• Represent the company as the lead quality contact in customer meetings, including inspection planning, execution and follow-up
• Support internal planning teams with technical expertise and quality input throughout the production lifecycle
• Collaborate with engineering, project management and procurement to ensure quality is embedded at every stage

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or a comparable technical field
• Several years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, ideally within machinery, engineered systems or mechanical components
• Understanding of pump systems, rotating equipment or fluid handling solutions is a plus
• Open to both senior professionals and technically strong candidates looking to advance into a quality leadership role
• Solid skills in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Pro Alpha or similar)
• Strong communication skills in German and English for client interaction and technical documentation
• Willingness to travel to customer and supplier sites (e.g. Germany or other European locations) for inspections and collaboration
• Structured and proactive working style with a strong sense of ownership and solution orientation
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across departments and cultures
