As part of its growth strategy, the company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (m/f/d) to drive the expansion and profitability of the business in Saudi Arabia. The Business Development Manager's (m/f/d) primary objective will be to identify and develop new business opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the market. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a combination of strategic thinking, sales acumen, and market expertise.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement a strategic business development plan to penetrate the Saudi Arabian market and achieve sales targets
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitive landscape
  • Analyze market data and insights to identify growth opportunities and develop effective business strategies
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and networking
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, architects, contractors, and other industry influencers
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for both the company and the client
  • Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with existing and potential customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective project management and timely delivery of products and services
  • Identify and evaluate potential strategic partnerships and distribution channels to expand market reach
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and market segments
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to adapt strategies accordingly
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market insights
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans 

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience in business development within the paints or related industry in Saudi Arabia
  • Strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market, including industry trends, customer preferences, and regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and secure new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and achieve sales targets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Driving license and willingness to travel
