Our German client is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization operating in the hospitality sector. As part of the expansion plan, the company is seeking a seasoned and strategic HR Director (m/f/d) to lead the human resources department and contribute to the overall organizational success. This role requires a strategic thinker who can align HR initiatives with the company's business objectives, foster a positive organizational culture, drive Emiratization, and ensure the development and implementation of effective HR policies and practices in compliance with UAE labor laws.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Devising and steering the HR strategy, in alignment with the CEO, and overseeing its execution to realize objectives
- In charge of Change Management and Organizational Transformation
- Lead and guide the HR team and drive Emiratization programs
- Spearhead recruitment plans to allure and retain key talent
- Champion employee engagement endeavors across the organization
- Ensure the deployment of training programs
- Oversee the comprehensive execution of the performance management process
- Routinely coaching, guiding, and supporting colleagues, spotlighting individual strengths and growth areas
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and regulations in the UAE
- Ensure company-wide compliance and mitigate potential risks
- Prepare and manage the HR budget, optimizing resources for maximum efficiency and effectiveness
- Report to the CEO
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources Management or equivalent
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR management experience, including leadership roles, in the UAE
- Strong understanding of UAE labor laws and regulations is essential
- Demonstrated experience in strategic HR planning, organizational development, and talent management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a high-performing HR team
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret HR metrics and trends to inform decision-making
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Cultural understanding and the ability to work with a multi-cultural team
