Our European client is a global market leader and producer of complex packaging systems and machinery. Continuously driving product as well as manufacturing innovation along with global connectivity and a unique team spirit have been the key success factor over the past decades. Due to the company’s growth and organizational change, we are exclusively searching for a Regional Sales Manager MEA (m/f/d). The primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical and commercial assistance to enhance the quality and quantity of sales within the region by identifying customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market trends, and potential growth areas in the MEA region
- Collaborate cross-functionally with project management, technical department and controlling to ensure seamless customer experiences
- Uphold quality management standards to ensure excellence encompassing configurations, layout concepts, budget quotations, inquiries and materials
- Ensure that all information received is accurately and promptly, facilitating the preparation of suitable customer offers
- Foster robust relationships, open dialogue, and close contact with customers to gather and convey vital information
- Develop detailed project plans and coordinate order progress in collaboration with resources
- Disseminate technical and commercial information transparently and comprehensively to all relevant departments at the earliest opportunity
- Monitor competitor activities, market conditions, and industry trends to make informed decisions and adjustments to the sales strategy
- Accurately forecast sales and revenue projections for the MEA region, regularly reporting progress to senior management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards in all sales activities
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:
- University degree in Engineering would be advantageous
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales in the MEA region
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in the machinery industry
- Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English, Italian language skills would be an added value
- Exceptional technical skills and in-depth knowledge of the machinery industry
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships based on value and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Aptitude for working independently, problem-solving, acting proactively, and working well under pressure
- Solution-oriented, reliable personality with team working and networking skills
- Availability to travel at least 30% of the time across the Middle East and Africa
