Our client is an international large-scale investment group. The company has recently established an entity in the UAE to target and develop the entire Middle Eastern region in the areas of real estate, finance, jewelry, trade and entertainment.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Drive, manage and control the overall direction and activities of HR within the company
  • Partner with CEO’s and stakeholders to ensure that HR is aligned to support both the business units and corporate HR
  • Research, identify, prioritize and execute HR goals and objectives for the business units
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure HR goals support overall business objectives and strategies
  • Take accountability for all action items relating to HR and manage cross-functional delivery and stakeholders expectations
  • Research, develop and execute an annual HR operating plan which incorporates innovative HR strategies designed to drive attainment of stated objectives
  • Make recommendations and demonstrate initiative on HR programs and processes that positively influence the development of the business units
  • Proactively identifies organizational issues and barriers impeding business unit and employee productivity
  • Drives the delivery of HR services as appropriate in areas including but not limited to compensation, benefits, employee relations, training and development as well as staffing
  • Partner with businesses/departments to ensure budgetary adherence on HR-related transactions
  • Manage the recruitment of top talent for key managerial/leadership positions
  • Coordinate and conduct international training programs

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in a managerial HR position 
  • Fluent English language skills, additional Mandarin language skills are preferred
  • A strong HR background and practical experience with medium to large scale investment companies, real estate industry experience would be an advantage.
