With his/her hands-on mentality, the Regional Finance Manager (m/f/d) will shape the Finance Department and will play an important role in the company's regional restructuring and commercial growth.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Provide oversight for and engage in internal financial reporting
- Process, compile, research, and analyze complex financial information and interpret it through timely reporting for board members, owners, auditors and local agencies
- Oversee financial data collection and representation for outside review
- Provide cost of ownership calculations, ROI calculations, and financing comparisons
- Provide oversight, creative, and strategic planning for both cash flow and debt
- Review and submit monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS
- Review P&L and Balance Sheets for reasonableness and accuracy
- Provide forecasting and timely reporting for budgets and verify reports, financial correspondence, and other documents using applicable software within established procedures
- Oversee financial data collection through accounting department leadership and direction
- Provide verbal and written presentations of financial status to the Board of Directors
- Guide the SAP software implementation process
- Coach and develop staff, including development of team goals and performance measures
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff leadership
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing internal processes to identify opportunities: foster acceptance of change and drives change management within the team
- Reporting to the Managing Director
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance and/or CPA preferred
- 10+ years of experience in accounting / finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Working experience in the UAE is a requirement
- Ability to understand P&L and to analyse commercial figures
- Decision-making and problem-solving abilities combined with strong analytical skills required
- Leadership and excellent communications skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to organize/prioritize existing resources and incorporate new information, as needed, to implement the most effective solutions
- Ability to apply excellent business acumen and collaborative skills when resolving problems
- Must be highly proficient with financial systems and software
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects concurrent
- Strong team building and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to frequently travel within the UAE
