Due to the company’s growth and organizational change, we are exclusively searching for an After-Sales Manager MEA (m/f/d). The primary responsibility of this position is to enhance the company's after-sales business in the MEA region by cultivating relationships, streamlining processes, and ultimately enhancing customer satisfaction. This role serves as the key liaison between different departments to enhance customer satisfaction.


Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the expansion of the after-sales business in the MEA region by developing impactful strategies, enhancing customer satisfaction to achieve business targets and KPIs
  • Build strong relationships with all subsidiaries, headquarters, and reference customers to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and service
  • Implement LEAN policies to efficiently manage relations with headquarters and subsidiaries
  • Drive after sales within the existing sales network
  • Analyze and anticipate future market trends to inform portfolio expansion and advise management accordingly
  • Coordinate with the local subsidiary to plan and execute all activities necessary for successful installation and maintenance of machines and lines at customer sites
  • Ensure timely and budget-compliant management of technical resources while maintaining high project quality and profitability
  • Facilitate communication of technical and commercial information across all departments to enhance decision-making processes
  • Act as the main point of escalation, reporting all relevant information and proactively addressing any issues that arise after machine or line delivery to customers


To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • University degree in Engineering would be advantageous
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in service or project management
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role in the machinery industry in the MEA region
  • Preference given to candidates with experience in North West Africa and South Africa
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Italian language skills would be an added value
  • Exceptional technical skills and in-depth knowledge of the machinery industry
  • Strong project management skills combined with a proficiency in analysis and budgeting
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships based on value and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Aptitude for working independently, problem-solving, acting proactively, and working well under pressure
  • Availability to travel at least 30% of the time across the Middle East and Africa
