Our client, a Dubai-based consultancy with German Management, is seeking a highly experienced Chief Sales Officer (m/f/d) to lead the international sales team. The Chief Sales Officer (m/f/d) will be responsible for overseeing all sales activities, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing and mentoring the sales team, and achieving revenue targets.

 

Your duties and responsibilities will include:  

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the company's client base on an international level
  • Building and managing a high-performing sales team, including recruitment, training, coaching, performance and retention management
  • Develop and maintain sales budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to measure sales team effectiveness and overall sales performance
  • Leading the development and implementation of sales training programs to improve the performance and productivity of the sales team
  • Establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships and alliances with other organizations in the industry to enhance the company's competitive position
  • Identifying and pursuing potential merger and acquisition opportunities to expand the company's capabilities and geographic reach
  • Developing and implementing pricing strategies that align with the company's goals and competitive landscape
  • Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline to support the company's growth objectives
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the industry and incorporating these into the company's sales strategies and offerings
  • Providing regular reports and updates to the executive team on sales performance, market trends, and other key metrics to inform decision-making
  • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and coordination of sales activities with overall business objective

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field
  • At least 15 years of experience working in a similar international role
  • Working in diverse cultures and geographies combined with a deep understanding of global business practices and trends
  • Experience working in the Middle East is highly desirable
  • Excellent English communication skills to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization; German language skills are advantageous
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing and developing high-performing sales teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop effective sales strategies
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth, achieve sales targets, and deliver results
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to relocate to Dubai and to commit to a long-lasting working relation
