Our client, a Dubai-based consultancy with German Management, is seeking an experienced Chief Marketing Officer (m/f/d) contributing to the organization's growth and profitability. The future position holder will work closely with other executives to align marketing efforts with the company's overall strategy, and will lead a team of marketing professionals in executing campaigns and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in marketing and business strategy, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.


Your duties and responsibilities will include:  

  • Developing and implementing a thought leadership strategy to position the company as a leading authority in its industry
  • Leading the development of the company's messaging and positioning strategy, ensuring that the company's messaging is consistent and resonates with its target audience
  • Developing and implementing a competitive analysis strategy to understand the strengths and weaknesses of competitors
  • Establishing a customer journey map, identifying key touch points and opportunities for engagement with customers
  • Creating a marketing technology strategy to ensure that the company is effectively leveraging marketing automation tools, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and other marketing technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Leading the development of the company's social media and public relations strategy, including content creation and distribution, community management, social advertising, media relations and press releases
  • Developing and implementing a pricing strategy that maximizes profitability while remaining competitive in the market
  • Working closely with the sales team to ensure that marketing efforts are aligned with the sales process, and that marketing initiatives are supporting the overall sales strategy
  • Ensuring that the company's marketing efforts are compliant with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including data privacy and security regulations
  • Establishing a crisis communication plan, to ensure that the company is prepared to respond to any potential crises or negative events that may impact its reputation
  • Leading crisis communication efforts in the event of a marketing or public relations crisis, working closely with other executives and stakeholders to manage the situation and protect the company's reputation
  • Providing regular reports and updates to the executive team on marketing performance, ROI, and other key metrics, and making recommendations for strategic adjustments as needed

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • At least 15 years of experience working in a similar international role
  • Working experience in Middle East is required
  • Excellent English communication skills to communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization; German language skills are advantageous
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing teams of marketing professionals
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to a variety of audiences
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills, with an eye for details
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other executives and stakeholders to align marketing efforts with the company's overall strategy
  • Experience managing a marketing budget and allocating resources effectively.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and SEO/SEM
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
