Our German client is a leading producer of high-quality paints, committed to providing innovative solutions for its international customers. As part of its growth strategy, the company is seeking to hire a Technical Engineer (m/f/d) who ensures the successful implementation and technical support of paints and coatings solutions. The primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise, support, and guidance to the customers, sales team, and internal stakeholders. The Technical Engineer (m/f/d) will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver customized paint solutions tailored to meet customer requirements.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Provide technical support and consultation to customers for paints and coatings products
  • Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions to educate customers on the features, benefits, and applications
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and develop customized paint solutions
  • Conduct thorough product analysis, testing, and evaluation to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and provide effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work closely with the R&D team to provide feedback on product performance, quality, and potential improvements
  • Develop technical documentation, reports, and manuals for internal and external use
  • Participate in trade shows, industry conferences, and seminars to represent the company

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience in the paints and coatings industry with UV material demonstration knowledge
  • GCC working experience is a must, working experience in Saudi Arabia is an added value
  • In-depth knowledge of paint formulations, raw materials, application techniques, and industry standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences
  • Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications and technical tools used in the industry
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Driving license and willingness to travel
