Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Manager (m/f/d) to manage the operations in Australia and New Zealand. As the sole representative in the region, the future position holder (m/f/d) will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, expanding regional market share, and establishing the brand as a trusted industry leader. Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets, market penetration, and profitability in line with the company's objectives in the ANZ region
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to drive business opportunities and enhance the company's market position
  • Drive new business development initiatives, identify potential customers, and create compelling value propositions to secure strategic partnerships and long-term contracts
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the European headquarters, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and buying behaviors to drive customized sales strategies and deliver superior customer experiences
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to the Senior Management Team
  • Stay updated with advancements in the engineering sector, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains competitive
  • Represent the company at trade shows and exhibitions

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or similar qualification
  • At least 8-10 years of working experience in a leading sales function within the Australian market
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills to identify opportunities, analyze market trends, and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining successful relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proven ability to manage sales budgets and forecasts effectively
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, and ability to ensure compliance
  • Willingness to travel within Australia and New Zealand, and internationally, when required
