Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager (m/f/d) to join the dynamic team and oversee the accounting, controlling, and reporting functions within the organization. With his/her hands-on mentality, the Finance Manager (m/f/d) will shape the Finance Department and will play an important role in the company's regional growth. 

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis in compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS)
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and monthly closing procedures
  • Review and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend appropriate actions for improvement
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather financial information, prepare budgets, and conduct variance analysis to monitor performance against targets
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for optimizing financial performance and operational efficiency
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with established policies and regulations
  • Conduct regular financial reviews, risk assessments, and internal audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to financial guidelines
  • Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational requirements and financial obligations
  • Optimize working capital management, including inventory, receivables, and payables, to support business growth and profitability
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, encouraging teamwork and knowledge sharing among team members
  • Provide forecasting and timely reporting for budgets and verify reports, financial correspondence, and other documents using applicable software within established procedures
  • Oversee financial data collection through accounting department leadership and direction
  • Reporting to the Managing Director

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance and/or CPA, CMA preferred
  • At least six years of experience in accounting / finance, preferably in a technical industry
  • UAE working experience is a requirement
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis
  • Familiarity with local financial regulations and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Experience with group financial planning, reporting and consolidation tools would be an added value
  • Good understanding of VAT and income tax regulations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Ability to apply excellent business acumen and collaborative skills when resolving problems
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills combined with passion, determination, strong sense of responsibility, precision and operational autonomy
  • Willingness to frequently travel within the gulf region
