Our client, a Dubai-based consultancy with German Management, is seeking an experienced Head of Operations (m/f/d) contributing to the organization's growth. The future position holder (m/f/d) will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation in a dynamic work environment, overseeing all operational aspects of the company, including customer management, resource allocation, financial management, and process improvement. The Head of Operations (m/f/d) will be a key leader within the organization, responsible for spearheading various critical functions that drive the company's growth and success.

 

Your duties and responsibilities will include:  

  • Providing leadership to the Operations team, encompassing management, support, and team development to ensure the seamless execution of daily operations
  • Overseeing daily operations business while identifying opportunities for the implementation of new policies and procedures aimed at process enhancement
  • Serving as an intermediary between the company and government authorities
  • Maximizing the utilization of the current CRM system and proactively exploring emerging technologies to enhance the organization's efficiency and customer-centric approach
  • Handling intricate cases and escalations, offering diverse perspectives to address challenges effectively
  • Acting as the primary point of contact between the operations department, department heads from other divisions, and senior management
  • Timely forecasting staffing requirements and collaborating with the HR department to address them
  • Monitoring and managing operational expenses to optimize cost-effectiveness and identify potential cost-saving initiatives
  • Actively advocating and participating in internal audits to elevate operational service standards
  • Compiling and presenting regular reports to senior management, detailing key operational metrics, performance indicators, prevailing trends, and predictive future outcomes
  • Reporting to CEO

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field
  • At least 10 years of experience working in a similar role, preferably in a consulting or professional services firm
  • Working experience in the Middle East is a must
  • Financial acumen and budget management experience
  • Strong leadership and team management skills combined with exceptional project management and organizational abilities
  • Personality that demonstrates cultural understanding, sensitivity, and inclusivity
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced work environment
  • Capacity to effectively manage tasks and thrive in high-pressure situations
