As part of their strategic expansion plans, they are now seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager (m/f/d) to establish and grow their presence in Iraq.
This pioneering role is critical for driving the company’s business development efforts, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and participating in major projects within the region. Reporting directly to the regional headquarters in Dubai, the Sales Manager (m/f/d) will have the unique opportunity to shape the company’s market presence and contribute to its long-term success in Iraq.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify business opportunities, customer needs, and industry trends in Iraq
- Develop and implement robust sales and business development strategies to achieve ambitious targets and expand market presence
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key customers, government entities, and industry partners, particularly in sectors such as oil & gas, power, and infrastructure
- Drive the entire sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and closing deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and project success
- Collaborate with technical teams to provide tailored solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards
- Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and other relevant forums to enhance brand visibility and credibility
- Prepare detailed sales reports and market insights to support strategic planning and decision-making
- Act as the primary liaison between customers in Iraq and the regional team in Dubai, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on goals
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in sales or business development, ideally within the industrial, energy, or infrastructure sectors
- Demonstrated ability to establish and grow market presence in a developing region, with a strong understanding of the Iraqi market and business landscape
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and seizing opportunities
- Fluent language skills in English and Arabic are essential
- Willingness to travel extensively within Iraq and occasionally to regional offices and international locations
