Our client is a fast-growing international renewable energy group operating an AI-powered solar infrastructure platform. Through its integrated platform and service ecosystem, the company enables solar installers and storage professionals to manage design, procurement, financing, and operations in a highly efficient, data-driven way - allowing partners to deliver smarter, faster, and more profitable energy projects.

As part of its global expansion strategy, the company is now entering the UK market and is seeking an entrepreneurial Country Manager UK (m/f/d) - AI-Driven Solar & Energy Platform to establish and grow its local presence.

This is a career-defining opportunity for a highly motivated professional who combines commercial leadership, strong sales drive, and digital affinity with deep industry insight. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys building businesses from the ground up and wants to play a key role in scaling an innovative, AI-driven platform.

You will have broad entrepreneurial freedom to shape the market entry, build strategic partnerships, and establish a solid operational foundation. You will work in close collaboration with the global executive team and contribute directly to strategic decisions at an international level.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with installers, distributors, and key industry stakeholders
  • Build, lead, and scale the local commercial and sales organization, owning revenue growth and customer acquisition across the UK.
  • Define and execute the UK growth strategy in alignment with global objectives, including pricing and commercial models tailored to the local market.
  • Monitor market opportunities, regulatory developments, and industry trends across solar, storage, and distributed energy, translating insights into actionable growth initiatives.
  • Oversee local operations including sales support, customer success, logistics, and technical coordination, ensuring high service quality and smooth partner onboarding.
  • Assume full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Act as the central interface between the UK organization and global headquarters, providing strategic market feedback to shape product adoption and long-term growth
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and in discussions with policymakers, associations, and key stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • 10+ years’ experience in renewables, digital energy solutions, or related sectors, including senior leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of scaling B2B businesses or launching new markets.
  • Commercial mindset with P&L ownership and hands-on execution.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of the UK energy market
  • Entrepreneurial, resilient and motivated to lead in a high-growth environment.
