Our European client is an international law firm, specializing in providing tailored legal services to a diverse clientele. The firm has a global presence and is committed to delivering high-quality legal solutions with a personalized approach. We are looking for a talented and experienced Lawyer to join our client's team and help expanding the service portfolio to meet the needs of international clients. The Lawyer will play a crucial role in advising and representing clients on a variety of legal matters, with a particular focus on local law and cross-border transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal guidance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:  

• Provide expert legal advice on local law, including but not limited to corporate law, commercial law, employment law, and intellectual property
• Manage and oversee cross-border transactions, ensuring compliance and international standards
• Represent clients in negotiations, and mediations
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect clients' interests
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client cases and internal decision-making processes
• Ensure clients' compliance with local and international laws and regulations, providing updates on changes in legislation that may affect their operations
• Assist in developing the firm's client base by building and maintaining relationships with clients and businesses operating in the GCC region
• Work closely with colleagues across different practice areas and jurisdictions to deliver comprehensive legal solutions

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

• Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable university
• Experience in the GCC legal market
• Fluency in both German and English is a requirement for this role, Arabic is an added value
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm / legal department
• Experience in litigation, corporate and commercial law
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Excellent legal drafting and research skills
