On behalf of our client, a globally recognized industrial leader specializing in advanced mechanical systems for the food processing industry, we are seeking a Senior Sales Manager MENA (m/f/d) to drive and expand the business development of poultry processing solutions across the Middle East and North Africa in a fully autonomous, hands-on role. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine strategic leadership with operational sales execution in a fast-growing, culturally diverse environment.

 

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Take full ownership of the sales process for single machines and complete production lines across the entire MENA region, driving revenue growth independently
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive technical quotations, layouts and tailored solution proposals aligned with customer needs and market demands
  • Lead and coordinate spare parts sales in close collaboration with internal teams to maximize aftersales potential
  • Act as the primary regional contact, supporting the Regional Sales Director with high-level strategic initiatives, including opportunity management, pipeline tracking and market intelligence
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities and customer leads throughout the MENA territory
  • Execute the company’s commercial strategy regionally, adapting approaches to local market dynamics and customer requirements
  • Represent the company with a professional and confident presence at key industry events, trade fairs and customer forums
  • Plan, organize, and conduct customer visits and sales trips independently, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring high customer satisfaction
  • Make decisive, data-driven decisions and continuously optimize sales processes to achieve targets
  • Report directly to the C-level suite at headquarters, providing regular updates on regional performance, market insights and strategic recommendations

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline or food technology
  • Minimum of 7 years proven success in technical or commercial sales, preferably within the food processing or poultry technology sectors
  • Extensive experience managing complex sales cycles autonomously across multiple countries within the MENA region
  • Strong technical aptitude combined with an entrepreneurial, customer-centric mindset
  • Highly organized and structured approach, with a passion for driving results and overcoming challenges proactively
  • Fluent in English and Arabic is mandatory; proficiency in French is an advantage
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a confident, professional demeanor
  • Self-motivated, hands-on leader with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural setting
  • Proficient with MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
  • Valid driving license and readiness to travel frequently within the region
  • High degree of personal responsibility, resilience and a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement
