Our client, a Dubai-based consultancy with German Management, is seeking a Head of Projects (m/f/d) to guide the company's international expansion. Working closely with the Chief Strategy Officer, the future position holder will lead global projects and business initiatives, and should have a track record in international project management.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Lead international expansion projects
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements, and ensure they are communicated to all stakeholders
- Lead project kick-off meetings to establish project objectives, scope, and expectations
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project charters, project plans, status reports, and change requests
- Manage project budgets and timelines
- Identify and manage project risks, ensuring that risks are appropriately mitigated
- Facilitate project team meetings, ensuring that project progress is communicated and issues are addressed in a timely manner
- Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate with internal teams and management to ensure successful project delivery
- Provide regular project status updates to the management team
- Establish partnerships with key service providers to enhance customer experience
- Align departmental strategies with the overall business strategy and share them with the team
- Execute strategies to address high-priority operational issues and drive results
- Monitor market developments, political environments, and legal changes to stay informed and identify strategic opportunities
- Reporting to Chief Strategy Officer
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required
- At least 8 years of work experience in a similar role in an international company
- Experience working in the Middle East is advantageous
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills are mandatory, German language skills are advantageous
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Strong cultural understanding and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Excellent client relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Strong people management skills with focus on work in intercultural teams
- Hands-on personality with the ability to multi-task and to deliver at a high-paced working environment
