As Sales Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for developing and expanding the company’s business across Europe. Operating from a home-office base within Europe, you will manage the full sales cycle for complex logistics system projects, working closely with engineering, project management, and executive leadership. This role combines strategic business development with hands-on sales execution in a technically demanding, project-driven environment.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for the European market, with a strong focus on parcel and postal system solutions
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities with logistics operators, postal organizations, and system integrators
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation and tender participation through contract negotiation and order intake
  • Act as the primary commercial interface for customers across Europe, building long-term and trust-based relationships
  • Coordinate closely with internal engineering, project management, and operations teams during proposal and execution phases
  • Support customers with technical and commercial solution concepts tailored to their operational requirements
  • Contribute to bid management, including technical clarification, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to continuously refine the sales approach
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade fairs across Europe
  • Report directly to the Head of Sales / Managing Director

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in technical sales or business development within industrial or logistics-related environments
  • Strong background in parcel and postal systems, material handling, or automated logistics solutions is highly preferred
  • Additional exposure to project management or project-based sales environments is a strong advantage
  • Proven experience in managing complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders and long decision cycles
  • Solid understanding of contract structures, tender processes, and solution-based selling
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills
  • Ability to work independently from a home-office environment while collaborating effectively with international teams
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Europe as required
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a strong plus
