Our client is a premier international aerospace solutions provider with a growing and influential presence in the Middle East. Renowned for its precision engineering and innovative aerospace maintenance solutions, the company delivers state-of-the-art safety and quality management systems to airlines, MROs, and aviation operators. As part of a strategic expansion in the region, our client is seeking a seasoned Quality and Compliance Monitoring Manager (m/f/d) to lead regulatory adherence, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and uphold the highest standards of aviation safety and quality throughout its Middle Eastern operations.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Own the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System (SMS) and the Quality and Compliance Monitoring System
- Ensure full compliance with aviation regulations, including EASA Part-145, GCAA CAR 145, and applicable ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, AS/EN9110)
- Lead internal and external safety audits, inspections, and compliance reviews; prepare reports and track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Monitor safety and compliance KPIs, analyze trends, and implement proactive measures to maintain operational excellence
- Lead and mentor the Quality Assurance team, fostering a proactive culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent implementation of safety and compliance standards across operations
- Oversee safety training programs, track completion, and promote continuous learning initiatives
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance and safety management in the aeronautical industry, including hands-on experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS)
- Proven knowledge of EASA, GCAA, and ISO standards; experience with audits, CAPA, and safety reporting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills, capable of guiding teams and fostering a culture of compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage with staff and management at all levels
- Certifications such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM), Lead Auditor, or Safety Officer/SMS training are an advantage
- Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to adapt to evolving regulations
