Our client is a globally operating company with decades of experience in providing high-tech banking solutions. The company is known for its innovative product portfolio catering to various industries. Are you an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in managing high profile relationships and delivering tailored solutions to clients? We are seeking an Area Sales Manager (m/f/d) to manage and drive business growth in Pakistan.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Oversee and increase sales of automation products and services both directly and via channel partners in Pakistan and Afghanistan
- Collaborate with the Head of Distribution Management and Regional Sales Directors, ensuring alignment with the Regional Sales Strategy
- Establish and maintain robust relationships with existing channel partners and direct customers
- Support and engage with channel partners and customers throughout the business cycle
- Identify and trigger new sales opportunities by offering appropriate solutions from the product mix, tailored to meet customer requirements
- Monitor competitive activities, identify future customer needs in terms of product portfolio and cash automation solutions, and establish a strong link with Product Marketing/Management
- Manage contracts with channel partners in compliance with internal guidelines
- Achieve individual sales targets and company objectives within the allocated sales area
- Prepare and present strategic plans for complex solutions to customers
- Liaise and negotiate with high-ranking public and private sector officials
- Finalize deals and sign sales and maintenance contracts with direct customers
- Provide accurate reporting of order income, revenues, and sales activity forecasts in Salesforce
- Initiate project scope to obtain costs and internal approvals, and review financial and technical proposals for timely and presentable customer delivery
- Coordinate with Service and Sales Operations teams for the execution of Annual Maintenance Contracts
- Stay updated with the latest product information and technical requirements to confidently sell products and support the reseller channel
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:
- A degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields
- A minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the banking environment
- Proven experience in pipeline development and go-to-market planning and execution
- Extensive experience in cash management
- High-level decision-making and relationship-building/management skills
- Proactive, result-driven, and capable of operating both individually and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience with direct sales and distributor management, preferably in the public sector, ideally experienced in key account management
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (Pakistan and Afghanistan)
- Based in Pakistan, preferably Karachi
