Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and monitor patch management processes across systems (SCCM, WSUS, MDE, Baramundi)
  • Execute system updates and patching activities using Vulcan
  • Administer software deployment and updates via Intune
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues across the organisation
  • Optimise applications and systems to improve performance and efficiency
  • Manage software vulnerabilities and ensure timely risk remediation
  • Monitor and respond to emerging security threats and vulnerabilities
  • Administer Active Directory, including user setup, access management, and process automation
  • Prepare and configure notebooks using standard deployment methods (e.g., PXE boot)
  • Provide first-level IT support, including user assistance and basic support for engineering and ERP systems

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • Successfully completed an apprenticeship as an IT Administrator and/or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Proven experience with patch management and vulnerability tools, including Vulcan, SCCM, and WSUS
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune and Active Directory administration
  • Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken); German is an advantage
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and effectively plan and prioritise tasks
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and achieve defined objectives
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to system accuracy and security
