With a solid presence in numerous international markets, they are now focusing on expanding strategically in Asia. 

We are seeking a Venture Manager (m/f/d) Asia to take the lead in launching our clients operations in one of the world’s fastest-growing probiotics markets. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with a team of experts to develop and execute a winning market entry strategy. From setting up the supply chain and establishing an online shop to building brand presence across marketplaces and launching impactful marketing campaigns - the Venture Manager will take full ownership of local operational execution. Additionally, you will identify the ideal hub location for the Asian market and assemble your own high-performing team to establish the brand as a market leader in the region.

 

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Play a central role in expanding our footprint across Asia as part of the Business Development team
  • Work closely with senior leadership to develop a comprehensive market entry strategy, including in-depth market analysis, identification of key customer segments, and discovery of untapped growth opportunities
  • Determine the ideal headquarters location and take full ownership of establishing and scaling local teams
  • Build and manage a strong partner and supplier network while supporting critical contract negotiations
  • Oversee local online marketing and e-commerce initiatives, adapting products, online shops, and campaigns to regional market needs and consumer behaviors
  • Drive strategic decision-making in collaboration with senior leadership and lead daily operations to ensure successful market expansion
  • Ensure close and continuous communication with headquarters in Germany to align strategic priorities and operational execution
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and regulatory developments to proactively adapt the business strategy
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration between marketing, supply chain, and product development teams to ensure a seamless market launch and sustainable growth

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a comparable field, with a demonstrated track record of leadership in high-growth, dynamic environments
  • Excellent academic background in Business Administration, Natural Sciences, STEM, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in a high-paced environment, ideally gained in top-tier strategy consulting, private equity, or a high-growth scale-up
  • Proven exposure to e-commerce, online marketing, consumer goods, or a similar direct-to-consumer (D2C) business model
  • Familiarity with the challenges and market dynamics of Asia
  • Strong, structured, and persuasive communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on mentality and a passion for building businesses from scratch
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with a results-driven approach and meticulous attention to detail
  • Business fluency in German and English (C1 level or above); additional Asian language skills are a plus
