Our client is a globally recognized manufacturer of cable management, identification, and connectivity solutions, known for its engineering expertise and commitment to quality. With manufacturing facilities across multiple regions and a strong international presence, the company serves customers in a wide range of industries, including energy, transportation, telecommunications, industrial automation, and infrastructure.
To strengthen our clients Sales Team in the Middle East, we are currently seeking a Sales Engineer (m/f/d) to manage technical sales activities across the UAE and Oman. The role focuses on the oil & gas sector, working with distributors and industrial end users. In this position, you will act as the key interface between customers in the region, local operations, and international engineering teams, driving business development, project specification, and market growth across both countries.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Drive new business development by identifying, targeting, and acquiring new customers while expanding existing accounts in close collaboration with distribution channel partners
- Own and manage strategic key accounts, proactively identify growth opportunities, and execute structured sales strategies aligned with regional and corporate objectives
- Conduct comprehensive market mapping and analysis to identify high-potential projects, tenders, and long-term contract opportunities across the assigned territory
- Deliver structured product presentations, workshops, and technical-commercial consultations to support customers and channel partners in solution development
- Act as the primary coordination point for all commercial and technical customer inquiries in alignment with distribution partners, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Develop and present tailored technical and commercial proposals that fully address customer requirements and deliver competitive value propositions
- Provide strategic input on regional market development, including product enhancements, portfolio optimization, and new solution opportunities based on customer and market insights
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, pipeline development, forecasts, and achieved results to support business transparency and planning
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experiences:
- Technical or commercial degree, or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales and/or Product Management, preferably serving customers in the Oil & Gas sector through distributors, contractors, EPCs, or direct sales channels
- Strong understanding of the Electrical and/or Energy/Utilities sector with relevant market and application knowledge
- Highly customer-centric mindset with proven ability to drive sales growth and develop long-term relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage at multiple stakeholder levels
- Strong strategic, analytical, and conceptual thinking capabilities with a structured approach to problem-solving
- Hands-on, proactive, and results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
- Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic language skills are considered a strong advantage
