Our client is a global market leader, delivering cutting-edge solutions for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. With a well-established and long-standing presence in the GCC, the company operates with a strong local footprint and a high-performing commercial team. To further drive regional growth and expand strategic partnerships, they are looking for an accomplished Sales Director (m/f/d).
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Shape and execute a dynamic sales strategy to accelerate growth across key GCC markets
- Identify new business opportunities and establish long-term, revenue-generating partnerships
- Drive cross-border collaboration within the GCC region, aligning commercial strategies across multiple markets to maximize synergies and efficiency
- Strengthen the company’s market position by engaging with influential decision-makers in government, real estate, and infrastructure sectors
- Oversee key negotiations and complex contract agreements, ensuring profitable and sustainable outcomes
- Lead regional sales operations, enhancing organizational structures and streamlining commercial processes
- Inspire and mentor a results-driven team, fostering a culture of performance and strategic ambition
- Represent the company at major industry events, positioning it as a preferred partner in large-scale projects
- Enhance digital sales processes and data-driven decision-making, leveraging market intelligence and technology to optimize sales performance and customer engagement
- Stay ahead of market developments, leveraging insights to refine business strategies and seize emerging opportunities
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:
- Degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Extensive leadership experience in sales, business development, or commercial management within the construction or infrastructure sector
- Proven ability to navigate the GCC market, with a deep understanding of industry regulations and key commercial drivers
- Exceptional commercial acumen, with a track record of securing and delivering high-value contracts
- Strategic mindset, capable of developing and executing impactful business expansion initiatives
- Outstanding negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at the highest levels
- Analytical and financial expertise, ensuring profitability and long-term growth
- Leadership experience in building and scaling high-performing sales teams in an international setting
- Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills in German or Arabic are an advantage
