Are you a seasoned professional with a strong background in managing the quality aspects of complex engineering projects? We are seeking a Project Quality Manager (m/f/d) who will take full ownership of ensuring that our sophisticated pump systems and installations meet the highest quality standards and comply with rigorous customer specifications. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of navigating the complexities of international projects in the Oil & Gas sector, driving excellence in every phase of production and delivery.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement comprehensive inspection plans and testing protocols based on detailed customer specifications, ensuring every aspect of the project meets the highest standards
• Define and enforce stringent quality requirements for both suppliers and internal production teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and customer expectations
• Provide expert project-related support to suppliers, guiding them to meet and exceed quality standards
• Lead the development and implementation of corrective actions with suppliers in the event of non-conformance, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to quality benchmarks
• Oversee the manufacturing process and acceptance of critical components at supplier sites, ensuring that all ordered scopes are produced and delivered to specification
• Supervise internal production processes with a keen focus on quality assurance, proactively addressing any potential issues to maintain the highest standards of production integrity
• Conduct meticulous delivery inspections, ensuring that all products meet or exceed the required specifications before reaching the customer
• Lead and manage additional customer engagements, including inspection preparation meetings and intermediate inspections, serving as the primary point of contact for quality-related matters
• Provide technical support and strategic guidance to production planners, addressing processing challenges and adapting manufacturing processes as needed to maintain quality

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable technical field is essential
• Extensive professional experience in quality management, particularly within complex, large-scale engineering projects, is highly preferred
• Experience in the Oil & Gas sector, particularly with rotating equipment, pump systems, or compressor technology, would be a significant advantage
• Prior working experience in the Middle East is beneficial and will be considered an asset
• Proficiency in MS Office is required; familiarity with Pro Alpha or SAP is a plus
• Willingness to undertake occasional business travel to ensure project success on a global scale
• Fluency in both German and English is essential for effective communication in this international role
• A highly independent, structured, and goal-oriented approach, with the ability to make decisive decisions and drive projects to successful completion
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
