Our European client, one of the largest manufacturers of heavy machinery, is seeking a Spare Parts Manager to lead parts operations across the Middle East and East Africa. This role is responsible for driving supply chain management and developing a motivated team that look to exceed customer expectations. You will work collaboratively across the business to develop and implement initiatives and improvements that continue to increase sales growth and customer retention.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Develop and implement a parts strategy to deliver continued growth
- Achieve sales targets and maintain P&L responsibility for all Parts services and support activities
- Collaborate across sales and service to establish service solutions to meet customer needs
- Set, monitor, and review inventory levels, stock turns, and movements
- Lead the continuous improvement of parts operations and distribution nationally
- Coach and develop employee capability that supports effective delivery of service
- Report to the Head of Customer Service
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:
- Diploma of Business Management or Supply Chain Management
- Excellent communicator, customer-focused
- Influential leader, who has extensive experience in a similar role in senior management throughout the Heavy/Construction Equipment industry
- Demonstrated ability to lead change, manage and develop a diverse team of employees
- Extensive Experience in comparable roles in Supply Chain Management
- Ability to provide accurate and timely advice and to make critical business and strategic decisions
- English written/ spoken fluently, German is an advantage
- Good knowledge of MS Office
