For our world-leading client, an international producer in packaging solutions, we are searching for a Business Analyst. Our client is a global market leader in their segment and grows product innovations continuously. As a Business Analyst, you act as the right hand of the Cluster Procurement Director by providing strategic and operational transparency over procurement performance across all clusters and regions. The role bridges procurement, finance, and analytics to enable data-driven decision-making. It includes responsibility for procurement, controlling, reporting, spend analysis, performance monitoring, and supporting strategic initiatives.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Design and maintain procurement KPIs, dashboards, and performance reports across clusters, regions, and categories
- Provide monthly and quarterly reporting to the Global Director (spend, savings, payment terms, supplier base, budget adherence)
- Act as the central source for procurement data and reporting
- Lead global spend analysis, supplier segmentation, and cost breakdowns
- Track, validate, and report savings in coordination with Finance
- Support procurement target setting and budget planning
- Deliver insights for strategy development, sourcing decisions, and financial impact assessments
- Ensure data quality and alignment with ERP/BI systems (e.g., MS Dynamics D365, Power BI)
- Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Digital teams on reporting systems
- Support global procurement initiatives, project tracking, and audit preparation
- Interface with Procurement Directors, Regional Leads, Category Managers, Finance, IT, and Audit teams
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experiences:
- Bachelor's and/or Master’s Degree in Actuary, Big Data, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field
- At least three years of experience in procurement, finance, controlling, or business analysis roles, ideally in a multinational environment
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, performance levers, and financial metrics
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., MS Dynamics, SAP) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Advanced Excel and data modeling skills; experience with SQL, Power Query, or Python is a plus
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and business fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Analytical thinking and strategic insight
- Financial acumen, business partnering, and stakeholder management
- Willingness to travel when required
