Our German client is a globally active technology manufacturer specializing in fluid and rotating system solutions tailored for challenging industrial environments. With a strong foundation in engineering excellence and a worldwide service network, the company provides customized, future-oriented solutions to clients in capital-intensive industries, particularly in the oil & gas, energy, process and industrial sectors.

As part of its strategic growth in the Middle East, we are currently seeking a Project Manager (m/f/d) Middle East to take full responsibility for the successful execution of complex customer projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery while maintaining strong alignment with clients, regional teams and the global headquarters.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the end-to-end management of assigned projects, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, delivery milestones, budget targets and invoicing schedules
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams, including Engineering, Quality, Procurement, and Logistics to achieve project objectives and operational excellence
  • Act as the central point of contact for customers and all internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules and all required progress reports for customers and internal leadership
  • Execute assigned projects in full compliance with contractual requirements, planned milestones and invoicing schedules
  • Coordinate project teams across Engineering, Quality, Procurement and Logistics functions
  • Act as the main communication link between customers and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare and manage detailed project schedules and all periodic reports required by customers
  • Plan and manage KOM (Kick-Off Meetings) and PIM (Project Interface Meetings) with customers
  • Organize and lead internal project meetings to ensure alignment on objectives and progress
  • Coordinate packaging activities with suppliers, ensuring timely approvals, documentation and delivery
  • Participate in final package inspections with Quality and Technical teams
  • Oversee packing processes in collaboration with packers and Logistics for permits and deliveries
  • Manage post-delivery activities, ensuring timely closure of punch lists, non-conformities, and remaining deliverables
  • Handle customer claims until successful project commissioning and completion

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable technical discipline; recognized project management certification preferred
  • 5–7 years of experience in project management within an industrial manufacturing environment, ideally in packaging solutions for the Oil & Gas sector
  • Proven track record in leading complex, international projects with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with excellent project management capabilities
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to represent the company confidently towards key customers
  • Demonstrated experience in driving process improvements and operational efficiency
  • Solid understanding of project and financial reporting tools; ERP system knowledge (SAP preferred)
  • Hands-on, structured, and solution-oriented approach with intercultural competence
  • Fluent in English; German or Arabic language skills are an advantage
  • Willingness to travel within the Middle East region and to headquarters in Germany
