About Our Client
Our client is a renowned company with almost 100 years of history and a strong international presence, operating more than 30 subsidiaries and branches across America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. To further strengthen its market position, the company is establishing an independent subsidiary in Chile, focusing on agricultural technology, biogas, wastewater treatment, transportation, and industrial applications.
This is a rare opportunity to be the first person on the ground in Chile and to spearhead the setup and growth of the business. In this pivotal role, you will not only drive sales and business development but also lay the foundation for the subsidiary’s long-term success. Your Responsibilities
- Drive business development and identify growth opportunities across Chile, targeting sectors such as agriculture, biogas, wastewater treatment, transportation, and industrial manufacturing.
- Build, manage, and expand customer relationships, taking direct responsibility for sales and ensuring long-term satisfaction and loyalty.
- Establish a dealer network in multiple markets, including organizing product and service trainings for dealers and customers.
- Take the lead in setting up the Chilean subsidiary, working closely with headquarters in Germany to develop the local market presence, operational structures, and business strategies.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences, and networking events to boost brand visibility and credibility.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to refine market strategies, product positioning, and business development plans.
- Collaborate closely with global sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure cohesive strategies and world-class customer support.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing local sales and service team to drive revenue growth and deliver best-in-class customer experience.Your Profile
Your Responsibilities
- A technical education in mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering, or similar, with strong hands-on skills and the ability to understand and communicate technical products effectively.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or Business Development Manager or similar with responsibility for sales, customer service, ideally with leadership exposure.
- Solid knowledge of developing and executing sales and marketing strategies, with a strong track record in B2B machinery sales. Experience with pumps, agricultural machinery, biogas, or wastewater equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce is an advantage.
