Our client is a well-established organisation with a strong regional presence in the Middle East. In this multifunctional role, the Quality and Compliance Monitoring Manager (m/f/d) plays a key role in ensuring the organisation’s adherence to aviation safety regulations and quality standards while driving continuous improvement across operations. The position combines quality assurance, regulatory compliance, safety management, and leadership responsibilities to support safe, efficient, and fully compliant maintenance operations. This role is well-suited for a highly analytical, detail-oriented professional with strong experience in aviation regulations, audit management, and Safety Management Systems (SMS). 

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee and continuously improve the Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, including EASA Part-145 and GCAA CAR 145
  • Manage safety occurrences, including reporting, investigation, and resolution
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and operational performance
  • Monitor safety performance data and identify risks and improvement opportunities
  • Ensure timely submission of regulatory reports and maintain accurate documentation
  • Align operations with relevant ISO standards and regulatory requirements
  • Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), ensuring timely implementation and effectiveness
  • Plan and conduct internal and external audits, including reporting and follow-up actions
  • Lead the Quality Assurance team, deliver safety training, and collaborate with stakeholders on compliance matters

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance and safety management within the aviation industry
  • Proven experience managing Safety Management Systems (SMS) in compliance with EASA Part-145 and GCAA CAR 145
  • Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, ISO standards, and compliance frameworks
  • Experience in audit planning, execution, and reporting
  • Solid background in root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) management
  • Relevant certifications such as ISO 9001, EN9110, or ISO 45001 are preferred
  • Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Lead Auditor certification is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting
  • Ability to adapt to evolving regulatory requirements and operational needs
