Are you an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in managing complex sales processes and delivering tailored solutions to clients? We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager (m/f/d) to join our client’s dynamic team and drive business growth in the MEAI region. If you have the expertise to manage complex sales cycles, develop strategic relationships with key clients, and achieve ambitious sales targets, this is the opportunity for you.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to promote complex pump technology and project solutions to clients in the chemical industry across the MEAI region
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging a deep understanding of the market and industry trends to drive sales growth
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations, acting as a trusted advisor and partner
- Lead negotiations and close high-value sales contracts, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company objectives
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product development, and marketing teams to ensure the delivery of tailored solutions that meet client specifications and expectations
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to post-sale support, ensuring a seamless customer experience and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to senior management
- Travel extensively within the MEAI region to engage with clients, attend industry events, and represent the company at trade shows and conferences
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field is essential; additional qualifications in Sales or Business Administration would be advantageous
- A minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience in the pump or rotating equipment industry, ideally with a focus on selling to the chemical sector
- Proven experience in managing complex sales processes and achieving sales targets in a technical, B2B environment
- In-depth knowledge of pump technology and project solutions, with the ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to a diverse audience
- Strong negotiation skills and a track record of closing high-value sales deals
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across different geographies and cultures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi and/or Arabic is an added advantage
- Willingness to travel extensively within the MEAI region, with approximately 70% of the time spent on the road and 30% in the office
