Our client is a globally renowned company in the construction industry, recognized for its innovative solutions in major infrastructure and hospitality projects. With a long-established presence in the GCC, the company has built a strong market position and a highly capable local team. To further accelerate growth in Saudi Arabia, they are now looking for an experienced Sales Director (m/f/d) to drive business development and expand strategic partnerships.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Define and execute a market-leading sales strategy to establish the company as a key player in Saudi Arabia
- Provide thought leadership and commercial insights to regional and global leadership teams, influencing key business decisions
- Identify high-value business opportunities and translate them into long-term, profitable growth
- Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships with government entities, key accounts, and industry stakeholders
- Lead high-level negotiations and complex contract structuring, ensuring optimal commercial outcomes
- Drive the expansion and operational excellence of the Saudi Arabian business unit, optimizing processes and organizational structures
- Establish a high-performance sales culture, setting ambitious targets and ensuring their successful achievement
- Represent the company at executive-level engagements, positioning it as a trusted partner in major infrastructure and hospitality projects
- Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities to shape proactive business strategies
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experiences:
- Degree in business, engineering, or a related technical field, complemented by executive-level leadership experience
- Proven success in leading large-scale commercial operations within the construction or infrastructure sector
- Deep expertise in navigating the Saudi Arabian market, including regulatory frameworks, key stakeholders, and business culture
- Strategic leadership experience, with the ability to define and implement high-impact business expansion initiatives
- Exceptional negotiation skills, with a track record of securing high-value contracts and forging long-term partnerships
- Strong financial and analytical acumen, capable of optimizing revenue streams and driving sustainable profitability
- Ability to build and inspire high-performing sales teams, fostering a results-driven and entrepreneurial culture
- Fluency in English and Arabic to engage with key regional stakeholders effectively
